Whimsical Wallyhood

One of my favorite things about living in Wallingford is its public art. I find it delightful that so many people personalize their spaces with all manner of sculpture, mosaic, decals and inventiveness. I love the murals painted directly onto the street.

I made the most of the sunshine today by traversing a circuitous route between my home in lower Wallingford and Bartell. I was delighted to find new street art depicting pedal-, people-, and paw-power at 44th and Bagley. That art inspired me to photograph other fanciful finds in the neighborhood. I hope you also enjoy them and are similarly inspired to meander through the ‘hood. (Note, if you can’t view the slideshow below, you can view it here.)
