My absolute favorite coffee place in Wallingford. Small, intimate, very much a part of the neighborhood. Also, not overly hip.
The coffee is great, and the food (mostly breakfast and dessert fare) much better than average (particularly of late). Best of all, the staff are uniformly delightful — the management at the Diva chain seems to have a knack for hiring nice, interesting baristas.
Love the coffee at Diva, and they have wonderful chewylicious bagels in addition to other breakfast treats. Very friendly baristas who remember my usual order, making me feel welcome and at home. I’m less fond of the small/cozy nature of the space, so I generally head over to Caffe Appassionato where the ceilings are lofty, the windows are huge, and the cushy chairs encourage feet on windowsills while watching the world go by. But that’s just me.
