The Stranger: With a simple takeout meal, May managed to break through my Thai skepticism....
Seattle Weekly: The food is also the real Thai deal, with the owners grinding their own scratch curry pastes....

Very good, especially the phad thai (they mix it at your table, serve in a banana leaf). Cute, good casual date place. But costs a bit more compared to other thai places in the area.
I’m not sure what Wallingford has done to deserve so many mediocre Thai restaurants. I’ve been served red wine that has turned and food that was ice cold in the middle at May. I’ve eaten here twice and it’s on my “never again list” My first visit things were ok enough, I returned but the second visit was my last. It’s not the mistakes I find so distressing, they happen. It’s how they deal with it that shows their quality. I did tell the wait person about these things and a shrug was all I got. Luckily, there are many other choices in Seattle for Thai food.
