Council to act Monday on Metro funding

Izilla to close Capitol Hill store, staying in Wallingford Center

We received the following email this morning from Jude LaRene of Izilla Toys: Hello there,  Izilla Toys is consolidating its retail efforts into one store. We will be closing our Capitol Hill store at the end of August and moving Izilla Toys World Headquarters to our Wallingford Center store. Reader Joan spotted this flyer today for a "FREE Community Picnic" at the Wallingford Playfield, and wondered what it was all about, so we just walked the doggies over to the park tonight and this is what we found: It's a FREE Community Picnic tomorrow (Saturday, July 23) at 12:30pm at the Wallingford Playfield, hosted by the Vine Christian Ministries.

Rubber Side Down bike polo party

Don't ask me how they get the horses on the bikes.
