With the excitement of the World Cup coming to Seattle, there’s no better time to celebrate community, connection, and a little global spirit right here in your neighborhood. Skip the traffic and head out for the Wallingford Sip and Stroll Third Thursday, happening on June 18th from 4 to 7 pm.
All ages are welcome, and there’s no purchase necessary—just come out, explore, and enjoy the neighborhood.
Organized by Matt Evans of Pacific Northwest Shop, the event continues to gain traction as a neighborhood tradition. “It’s all about discovering and connecting with local small businesses,” Evans says. “We’re seeing more engagement in the summer, and we look forward to building that energy into the winter as the event continues to grow.”
This month, in the spirit of the World Cup, several stops are adding a playful twist. Wally Pets and Second Act Kids will feature soccer-themed treats and activities, while City Cellars will be pouring a California rosé with a special World Cup label—perfect for a warm June evening.
Returning participants include:
- Cascadia Pharmacy
- Cedarhouse Flowers
- City Cellars
- Bedrooms & More
- Pacific Northwest Shop
- Peti Boutique
- Second Act Kids
- Sock Monster

Many of these shops are also participating in the summer’s new event, as recently reported by Wallyhood: Wallingford Bingo. You can find more details along with business listings and links on the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce website.
