A rustic Italian restaurant called Fiasco has recently opened in the neighborhood. Fiasco occupies the space that formerly housed Thackeray Café & Bar, and is owned by the same people, the guys behind Heavy restaurant group. Middle School Meetups During Early Release Wednesdays

Recently, staff from Seattle Public Library went to Hamilton Middle School to find out what students wanted in an afterschool program just for them. This Saturday, April 27, the Seventh Day Adventist Refuge Church at 2102 N 40th St. (on the corner of 40th and Meridian) will hold a Kids Fun Day. Celebrate Earth Day at Kids on 45th

Wallingford's local consignment shop, Kids on 45th, is celebrating Earth Day all week with a special "Consignment for a Cause" clothing drive. Basically, parents can consign their kids' clothes and designate the money go to the charity of their choice (or not—they can choose to receive the cash or online credit themselves).
