Just 5 years ago Lincoln High School in Wallingford re-opened and today the school is thriving with over 1700 students, 1200 student athletes, including earning a state baseball championship and a boy’s state soccer title.  Additionally, this growth puts the school into the Class 4A Washington State bracket, providing an even more competitive level of competition. St Benedict’s is one of the oldest North End catholic parishes, dating back to when construction began in 1906.  Starting in 1983, as a way of raising money to support the parish school, the festival has become a community event celebrating kids going back to school.  New this year, the name has been changed to the Great Wallingford Bratwurst Festival.  Everyone is welcome to come enjoy this annual “Wallingford" event.
