A heart-y pancake breakfast

Valentine's Day may be over, but it's still  heart month; and to celebrate, the Wallingford Community Senior Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave N #140) is hosting a Pancake Breakfast this Sunday, featuring free-formed heart-shaped pancakes and lots of other goodies for the whole family. Slide to Nowhere

The lunchroom was all a-twitter at Lincoln High this week (Lincoln being the semi-permanent home of APP@Lincoln Elementary School). Rumor had it that someone at a nearby home had installed a slide in their front yard - a slide which slid straight into a fence.
