Two weeks ago our daughter was visiting from Spokane and her car was broken into, she was parked outside our house on Latona. They are also stealing clothes, shoes and anything they find inside.

Stolen Bike? Get it back!

Seattle Police Department recently launched @Getyourbikeback, a Twitter feed for their inventory of over 500 bicycles in their Evidence Warehouse. Why does the SPD have so many bikes? According to the SPD Blotter, "Each one of those bikes was abandoned somewhere in the city then later recovered by officers. We may have your bike, and we’d like to reunite you with your wheels." Westward and Little Gull Opens September 3

The long-awaited waterfront restaurant, Westward, and its counterpart, Little Gull Grocery, opens on Tuesday, September 3.
