Apparently, there's a guy posing as a cop who's been robbing people in the area. SPD tells us that a 46 year-old male named Ryan James Purdy (aka Tracy Byers) has been on robbery detectives' radar since December, when he robbed several people in Volunteer Park, taking cash and credit cards, after he flashed a fake badge. More apartments planned for Stone Way

Looks like plans for a new mixed-use apartment building on Stone Way are in the works. This time, it's on the former site of Stoneway Roofing, at 3636 Stone Way N. We phoned Stoneway Roofing back in the fall when we heard they were closing that location, but they were pretty mum about vacating the space. Woodland Park Zoo Open House

Woodland Park Zoo (5500 Phinney Ave. N. Map of location) is hosting an open house this Thursday, February 28, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm to kick-off its "Inner North Parking Lot Reconfiguration and Expansion Project."
