Lulu writes: Sad to hear that the Subway on 45th is closing on Tuesday. According to one of the employees, it is the slowest Subway in WA State. My kids loved it but we still have Taco Time! Susan Lowney wrote to tell us that workers were forced to cut down a dying old tree at 49th and Densmore this week. "It's been my neighbor since I moved here in 1977," she writes, adding, "I understand that the remaining stump will be harvested for making furniture.  A fitting end for a dying tree."

Field Closure at Wallingford Playfield
