KYNDecals

Kickstarter, the web service where people can seek funding for their ideas in tiny increments from anyone who will listen, has been picking up steam recently. We got a note from Rob (graduate of Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery instrument design program and ) and Sarah (certificated music teacher and the official music teacher for KYND (aka Theory Girl)) on Latona Ave just north of 50th that they've got a project they're working on: You just returned from one sweet Dave Matthews concert. Pot Holed

Calmar McCune wrote: Two weeks ago I sent to the Seattle Mayor two photos of hole in sidewalk at 45th NE and I-5 at NW corner. A week later I sent a third photo. Yesterday a letter came from office of the Mayor stating the State is responsible. But this week the hole was filled with asphalt. Celebrate ‘Loving Day’ at Fuel Coffee

Next Tuesday, June 12, is Loving Day! "What's that?" you ask, "Another fabricated holiday foisted upon us from Hallmark?" Absolutely not! It was a bit tough to tell from the photo, but the "never" sticker that changed "Coming Soon" to "Coming Never" was on the outside of the window by an unnamed party, and was not, unsurprisingly, an officially sanctioned Bill the Butcher statement. Terri from Bill the Butcher wrote us to let…

In case you missed her back in January, or during the Stone Way Community Party a few weeks back, Wallingford's Fathia Atallah is back by popular demand to perform her musical tribute to Edith Piaf this Saturday, June 9 at 8pm at Creative Music Adventures (4501 Interlake Avenue #2): Come hear the songs of Edith Piaf as they were meant to be sung, by native French speaker Fathia Atallah.
