The folks behind the 3400 Stone Way N. development (now called "Stone34") are hosting an open house tonight (Thursday, February 16) at the Fremont Abbey Cafe (4272 Fremont Ave N.), from 5:30PM-7:30PM, offering appetizers from Pecado Bueno, and a no-host bar. Seattle Schools: Kindergarten rates going up

Seattle Schools has announced its "proposed" fee of $2,720 for full-day Kindergarten during the 2012-13 school year. These fees cover the costs for the non-funded portion of a full day of Kindergarten, half of which is covered by the state. Payment can be made in 10 monthly installments of $272 per month, beginning September 1.
