Aurora motel site receives Seattle Housing Levy funds
Back in July, we told you about Catholic Housing Services (CHS) acquiring the former Thunderbird/Fremont Inn motel site to convert the property into low income housing. Yesterday at the site, Mayor Mike McGinn announced a $27 million dollar levy to fund the construction of seven new apartments for low income families, seniors, and veterans citywide, including the Aurora site.
