This Friday, October 21, Derby Salon is hosting its fifth annual "Beautify for Breast Cancer" event at Wine World (400 NE 45th St.) beginning at 6pm. The fundraiser is in honor of Stacey Piper, a former stylist of Derby Salon who lost her life to breast cancer, leaving behind her daughter, 6 year-old Peyton Piper. Last week, Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream was lauded as Small Business of the Year by King County Executive Dow Constantine.
