This Saturday (October 29) head on over to The Meridian School at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave. N.) for their annual Fall Carnival from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. The Seattle Times ran a story earlier this week about a good old fashioned hullaballoo at the John Stanford School: incoming principal Jesely Alvarez announced that students would be asked to recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of each school day.
