SHARE shelter reopened at Gift of Grace

Earlier in the month, we told you about the citywide SHARE shelters that were closing because of lack of funding for operational costs. Sock Monster Expanding

Sock Monster is expanding! Sock Monster will be taking over about 200 square feet the space recently vacated by  Not A Number Cards and Gifts.  Sock Monster's owner Holly tells us they're hoping to move into the additional space around November 1 (hopefully Halloween, though!)  after some painting and other chores.  The new space will double Sock Monster's window front. Incident in front of Ivar’s yesterday?

Jan writes: Did you hear anything about the death outside of Ivars on NE Northlake around 4 pm? There were four police cars, yellow taped off area with street blocked off and a covered body.
