Free Workshops on Aging Well

Wallingford Community Senior Center invites you to a free evening event: “Aging Well: Challenging Myths, Embracing Possibilities.” This evening kicks off “New Thinking for Healthy Aging”, a series of learning conversations and workshops. Not just for seniors …. aging touches us all! Adults of all ages are encouraged to attend and participate in this dynamic discussion. Bring your friends, parents, neighbors; build your communities.

Keynote Speaker: Cyrus Appell, MD. Palliative care & hospice physician, and active Wallingford neighbor. Co-leader of Sustainable Wallingford’s Seed Starts project.

When: Wednesday, November 10th, 2010, 6:30 – 8:30 pm

    Thank you for posting this announcement. “Aging Well” encompasses not only physical and nutritional choices, it also includes surrounding ourselves with a supportive and engaging social network and challenging ourselves to do new things.
