Today at 1:58pm on Bridge Way North and 38th Street, fire and rescue was responding to an accident that took place right before the Aurora overpass. I happened to be traveling on 38th Street at the time of this accident and snapped an image of fire and rescue cleaning the scene and loading the individual into the ambulance.
According to a Wallingford resident at the scene:
A person on a scooter was hit by a truck and the driver of the scooter was quickly taken to the hospital to treat injuries.
At this moment we don’t have any further details about this incident; but we’ll update any information that we receive and hope everyone is okay.
