Hamilton’s Alvarez named JSIS principal

  • Post author:

Assistant principal Jesely Alvarez of Hamilton International Middle School has been named principal of John Stanford International School.  Alvarez will take over Kelly Aramaki’s post, when he departs JSIS at the end of the school year and heads to Beacon Hill International.

Hamilton’s principal, Chris Carter, expressed his excitement for Alvarez’ new role, but also some sadness that “HIMS will be losing such a talented and respected colleague and school leader.” As JSIS is one of Hamilton’s feeder schools, he added “we are looking forward to continuing to deepen our work as International Schools.”

HIMS is now in the process of identifying a new assistant principal, who will work alongside Assistant Principal Jo Shapiro.
