Last month the Wallingford Neighborhood Office (Weaving Wallingford) decided to dissolve. The organization for more than a decade sponsored and provided important services to the neighborhood, including the annual Kiddies Parade, the Home Tour, the Garden Tour, the neighborhood office, the Wallingford E-news, and more.  The demise of these events will be a loss to Wallingford. You may remember that Rain Sushi closed up shop a month or so back, and the spot was taken over by Miyabi, a Japanese Noodle shop with an existing location in Tukwila. It turns out that rather than buying Rain and converting it, Miyabi was able to simply take over Rain's expiring lease.
