Wallingford swings!

Next time you're at the Wallingford Playfield or Meridian Park, you'll notice a a bright cheery, yellow addition to the swings.  The Fremont Rotary Club has donated one ADA accessible swing for each park that are designed for kids with special needs.  The donation is part of the Fremont Rotary's "Yellow Swing Campaign" of which a total of four swings were donated to local playgrounds. Boys and Girls Club Gets Kinect(ed)

Christmas came to the Wallingford Boys and Girls Club (WBGC) a few days early, thanks to a generous donation from Microsoft.  Yesterday, the club received an Xbox 360 with Kinect.  The software company donated the console and two games to 4,000 Boys and Girls Club locations nationwide.  As a special bonus, WBGC also received 13 additional Kinect games, courtesy of the Hotmail team, who shipped them using their new Active View feature.  Club members were invited to come and try out…
