Joule Has A Gem!

During one of our weekly family strolls last Wednesday night, I noticed Joule had a handwritten sign taped to their window, which read that they'd be closed for the evening. "Hmmm," I wondered aloud, "why would Joule be closed tonight?  It's Bastille Day!" Alas for the Francophiles, but cheers for the tender-hearted, Joule's Facebook page reveals the answer: To those who love Joule and have been waiting for our new bundle of joy, Pike Jun Jack Chirchi came to this world…

Lots going on in Wallingford this Wednesday, so make yourself comfortable: First off, the weather report says it's supposed to get up to 90° F. That's nine-zero frickin' degrees! In Seattle! Wallyhood Roll

Ah, sushi. Thank God the Japanese came up with a better name for it than "raw fish wrapped in seaweed", otherwise we probably would never would have tried it.
