Drunk Drawing

Ever been to a Boozy Doodle at Al's Tavern?  Nope, this isn't some ploy to get your Labradoodle drunk---though this is Wallingford, so we can see why, you know, people might interpret it that way.  Boozy Doodle is all about sketching with Wallingford's sketchiest every Tuesday night, beginning at 9pm.  We wrote about Boozy Doodle Drawin' Night last January, when Jordan spied the sign taped to the window at Al's Tavern.  Al's Facebook page nicely sums up a description: Come one,…

Wallingford Nightlife: Do You Care?

A few weeks back, we introduced a new resource to our ever burgeoning trove of Wallingford wonkery: the Wallingford Nightlife Calendar, an oft-updated compendium of all the adult-focused music, trivia nights, and dancing around our unprepossessing little 'hood. Nobody seems to care. That is, based on our spot…
