Wallingford Farmers Market starts May 30

The Wallingford Farmers Market season kicks-off on Wednesday, May 30 from 3:30-7:00PM and is open every Wednesday (except July 4) through September 26. This is the second year the Farmers Market will be located at Meridian Park (Meridian Avenue N. at N. 50th St.). Last week, Wallingford neighbor Greg Flood alerted us to Ask.com's promotion "You Asked, We Answered" in which Seattleites were asked which of the three requests would they like to see fulfilled: 1) Getting a free cup of joe during a morning commute; 2) minimizing stadium traffic; or 3) saving our citywide wading pools from the budget chopping block this summer. Chow Foods to open ‘TNT Taqueria’

The paper covering the windows of the Chow Foods storefront at 2114 N. 45th Street will soon be removed to unveil a new mexican quick-serve restaurant. Peter Levy of Chow Foods tells us that "TNT Taqueria" will open around mid-July, and he assures us that the food will be yummy. Levy also tells us that they'll be serving beer at that location.
