Louder than a Bomb

Jim Carter of the Wallingford United Methodist Church sent this along: Wallingford UMC, along with Seattle Slam, are pleased to be sponsoring a screening of the award-winning documentary Louder Than A Bomb at WUMC on Friday, September 9th. Rodger Biasca just sent us this sad news: Arno Llorente was known to many Wallingford residents, usually seen hanging out along 45th as he trekked daily from his apartment near Molly Moon's to his son Steve's house on Thackeray. About noon today (9/7), Arno collapsed. He was transported to Harborview, but they were unable to revive him. New PEPS groups for fall at Good Shepherd

Program for Early Parent Support (PEPS) is offering two new groups this fall designed especially for parents with two children. Both of these groups will meet at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Avenue North, Room 326): Second Time Around is a parent support group for parents who have more than one child, including a new baby.
