Despite chilly, blustery, damp weather gardeners turned out in record numbers this weekend for Seattle Tilth's Annual Edible Plant Sale. "Wristband entry", new this year, was in force where buyers were assigned a time to enter to even out the load.  Arrive early if you don't want to wait! Neighborhood Wading Pools Face Possible Closure

On Tuesday, King 5 reported the possible closure of two community centers and three swimming pools this summer, along with several of the wading pools citywide.  Faced with budget reductions, former superintendent Tim Gallagher told King 5 "24 of the 27 public wading pools may close in June."
