Last week, lower Wallingford's own Varsity Inn debuted a new Mexican dinner menu -- and I find myself wishing I were a real restaurant reviewer so I could do them justice. A Friend-ly Reminder from Friends of McDonald School

Just a reminder to those participating in the Friends of McDonald playground structure project: another meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 27, to make the final selection for playground equipment.  The meeting is free and all are welcome to take part in the decision-making process.  The meeting will take place at Green Lake Elementary, from 7-9 p.m. and refreshments will be served. Community Embraces ‘A New Start’ For Senior Center

This morning's pancake breakfast at the Wallingford Community Senior Center (WCSC), aptly named "A New Start", was as busy as an I-Hop on National Pancake Day.  By 11:30 a.m., Community Board Member Carol Ballard said the count had peaked to 190 hungry patrons. "We had 166 people before church let out," she beamed.
