Major changes to King County Metro

Our local public transit system is making some major changes in 2010. Along with the usual fare increase (its $0.25 this time), they're also switching everything over to the new ORCA card system. I ordered mine and added a PugetPass online. It was fairly straightforward. Our crime coverage may have been doing more harm than good: it's been erratic and spikey, given the sense that there may suddenly be a crime wave on, whereas our reporting has more to do with what we happen to hear about than what's actually going on.
