Colleen Kurke wrote to tell us that the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce will be cleaning up the streets and tree pits along 45th St. later in the week, in preparation for the holiday, and the rainy/wet season. Yoroshiku, the new Japanese restaurant in the old Joule space (1913 N. 45th St.) is now open, and Wallingford resident Ann Ishimaru went there on Sunday night and wrote to tell us all about it. As a follow up to the Seattle Police Department's (SPD's) Safe Communities meeting held back in October, the Wallingford and Fremont Chambers of Commerce are working together with SPD to tackle specific issues that affect our neighborhoods.
