Seattle Schools seeks waiver for two snow days

Seattle Schools is asking the Office of Superintendent of Public Education (OSPI) for a waiver for the January 19 and 20 snow days, when Gov. Chris Gregoire declared Washington in a State of Emergency. If approved, Seattle Schools would not have to make up the two days at the end of the school year. WCC and SPU Agree on Terms for Transfer Station Rebuild

The results for the second month of the Think Green Recycling Challenge have been released, and the Friday North route - Wallingford's day of the week for garbage and recycling pickup - is in first place.
