Library Levy Meeting

We Wallingfordians sure do love our library branch, no? If not for its size, then certainly for its convenience. It's crunch time for ten neighborhoods competing in the Think Green Recycling Challenge. The contest ends with waste collection on Friday, March 30, your last chance to get the heavy stuff into your recycling and food waste carts and go skimpy (but of course) on garbage. Remember, Wallingford and our neighbors to the north could win $50,000 to spend on a community project if we continue to recycle more tonnage than other Waste Management customers, compared to last year. Another Stolen Package

You may remember our last post on this subject: Package Thefts. Now, Marilyn writes: Amazon shows that I had a book delivered to my porch last Friday night at 6:58. It disappeared sometime during the night. This is the 4th package, all from Amazon, that has gone missing from my porch in 2 months. While not entirely comforting, at the very least, we can rule out the suspect involved in this month's rash of burglaries.
