Pinky’s Kitchen opens Friday

The buzz on Eater and Seattle Met today is that Pinky's Kitchen, a new barbecue/comfort food trailer, will open this Friday, at 210 NE 45th St., across from the Rancho Bravo truck on the old Winchell's lot. Take a look at the menu on the right to see their offerings: a Boneless Rib Sandwich, sliders, and sides like mac 'n cheese and coleslaw. Yes, please! Seattle Met tells us that the food truck is a joint venture between Rancho Bravo's Freddy Rivas and…

Wallyhood Pumpkin Carving Winners

Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2011 Wallyhood Pumpkin Carving Contest! We had one heck of a lineup this year and we'd like to thank everyone who also took the time to cast their votes. Doesn't apply to happy hour, blah blah blah, but she's a fine pub and even finer at that price. (Photo ripped off from Go Time Seattle, which ranks Kate's as the #1 Happy Hour in Seattle)

Wllm Shkspr @ Stne Sp Thtr

It's officially fall in Seattle, and I need some official entertainment.  It's cold, I'm grumpy and I defy the person who tries to make me giggle under such conditions.  So why, you may ask, do I put on my crankypants and thither to the theater? To see some Shakespeare?  Because this stuff is awesome. From November 4th - 27th, Stone Soup Theater and Sound Theater Company present "The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged)," an evening expertly designed to make you crack up, taunt the…
