Since the earthquake and tsunami in Japan last week, a few Wallingford businesses have come forward to donate a portion of their profits toward relief efforts in Japan. We reported that Issian was contributing a portion of their sales, and tonight, Wine World is holding a sake class, and donating 100% of the entry fees. (sorry, folks, that was on Wednesday night!) Next time you're at the Wallingford Playfield or Meridian Park, you'll notice a a bright cheery, yellow addition to the swings. The Fremont Rotary Club has donated one ADA accessible swing for each park that are designed for kids with special needs.
