Those of you who still subscribe to the Seattle Times are likely well-acquainted with the work and the words of Wallingford resident Paul Dorpat. Mr. Dorpat, with Jean Sherrard, curated the “Now & Then” section of the Sunday Times’ Pacific NW Magazine, now written by Clay Eals. The 2026 Wallingford Parade is Right Around the Corner

The Wallingford Parade, an annual Seafair event, is returning for the 74th time on Saturday, July 11th, starting at 11 am, and the organizers want to make this the biggest parade ever! This year’s theme is Grow Big Dreams, inspiring neighbors to envision what they want to grow over the course of the next year.
