This Wednesday, October 18, Kerf International, a multidisciplinary artists’ collective, will be holding its first opening-night reception at the Blue Star Cafe. The back room of the restaurant, normally adorned with the well-known and beloved vintage photos of historic Seattle, has, once again been transformed into an exhibition space for local artists. The Seattle Public Library has been expanding their events for awhile.    They launched the Library Lounge, "a moveable feast of events and celebrations all around Seattle that combine literature and libations."  It is not immediately obvious to me how this fits with the mission of the Seattle Public Library , but why should that stand in the way of supporting the Library and a local business.  The Floating Bridge Brewery alerted us the following events from the Booktoberfest events that are…
