John Stanford International School's (JSIS) largest annual fundraiser, the JSIS Move-A-Thon will take place on Sunday, September 30 on the Burke-Gilman Trail and the parents/organizers of the event are looking for corporate sponsors to help pay for participant and volunteer t-shirts. Drive like you live here

Living relatively close to Hamilton International Middle School, I often see drivers frantically race their children to school on N. 41st, which is an non-arterial street. And several times when I've been out walking the dogs, I've almost been plowed over by folks driving southbound on Wallingford and hooking a sharp right onto N. 41st without looking out for pedestrians. McDonald International School Grand Opening

After two years of ramping up in its interim site at Lincoln, F.A. McDonald International School has moved into its own, spiffy, newly-remodeled building on N. 54th St. at Latona. The school had been closed for 28 years and was in pretty bad shape until now. The Program for Early Parent Support (PEPS) group at the Good Shepherd Center now has a fall schedule for "Little Peppers" (families with two children under the age of three).
