Reminder: Seattle Public Library closed next week

Heads up once again, Wallingford: Due to citywide budget cuts, all Seattle Public Library locations, including the Wallingford branch, will be closed from Monday, August 29 through Monday, September 5 (Labor Day). Regular Library hours will resume on Tuesday, September 6. This also means that the book drops will close on Saturday, August 27 and re-open Tuesday, September 6, when the branch opens at 1pm.

Zaw Artisan Pizza opens tomorrow

We just heard word from the good folks over at Zaw Pizza that they'll be opening their Wallingford location tomorrow. The new place is at 4612 Stone Way N. and the phone number is: (206) 297-1334. You may have noticed lately that someone has been on a tagging spree around the neighborhood, leaving their mark on walls, garbage dumpsters, signs at the park, and on people's yard waste and recycling cans.
