What’s open?

According to the Twitterverse, Blue Star, Dick's, Kate's, Taco Time and Molly Moon are open. May and Djan's seem to be closed. Mixed report on Rain (they answer their phone, but it cuts out almost immediately). Darcey adds "a ton of cars stuck on 45th, driving westbound up the hill from I-5.  There were about six guys helping out, and they really were making good progress getting cars up the hill (me included, just now) Thank you mystery ice hill helpers!"…

Metro is on SNOW ROUTES Monday am

Metro announced Sunday night that all Metro buses will be on Snow Routes for the Monday morning commute.  Even if the streets are dry. And some snow routes have  been changed since last year.  I took a look at some Wallingford routes and found the following: #26 southbound will turn right on 45th, then left on Stone Way, back to regular route at Stone Way & 35th.  So it looks like anyone commuting from Lower Wallingford to downtown on the #26…

Memorial at Gas Works

Just saw this photo posted to Twitter by Natalie Greco of a memorial at Gas Works, where people were putting candles in balloons and setting them afloat. She says she's not sure what the memorial is for, but "People were calling out names as they released them. Then clapping as they flew off." Beautiful. Anyone know more?
