Upcoming public forums to discuss SHARE shelter

As previously reported on Wallyhood, the indoor homeless SHARE shelter opened yesterday at the Gift of Grace Lutheran Church. Following up from Sunday's notification meeting, Pastor Jami Fecher sent an email to all meeting attendees who wanted to receive a follow up communication. Final 2010 Peace Concert 9/19

The 30th Annual  Seattle Peace Concerts conclude with a final concert at Gas Works Park this Sunday, 9/19, noon to 6pm.  Free, but food bank donations are encouraged. Wallingford Home Tour Canceled

The Wallingford Home Tour, originally slated for Saturday, October 3, has been canceled, according to  Janet Stillman, Director of the Wallingford Neighborhood Office.  The reason for the cancellation is that there aren't enough homes for the tour. This annual event provided the public with a chance to see many of the beautiful Craftsman Bungalows here in Wallingford.  Proceeds of the Home Tour also supports the cost of running the neighborhood office.
