4th Ave Block Party

A day late but not a dollar short, neighbors in the area of 4th Ave NE and 40th / 42nd St NE had a block party this past Sunday, gathering under the pavilion in the John Stanford School play area and enjoyed some of the finest paella this side of the Pyrenees. Holy Wallingford!

Hot the heels of the news that the Calvary Fellowship Church has returned to Wallingford, we learned today that a new worship service has started meeting Sunday mornings at the Wallingford Boys and Girls Club: the Anchor Church. It's part of the Acts 29 Network of churches, an evangelical, missionary Christian group dedicated to "planting" new churches around the country.

Seattle Tilth Harvest Fair

We almost forgot that this weekend is Seattle Tilth's annual Harvest Fair, a wonderland of fresh veggies, workshops, informational booths and live music, all going on Saturday, September 12, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. behind the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave N).
